New Westminster's Annual Festival of Volunteers

Setup

The Mall will be open at 9am for TABLE SETUP and the event area should be cleared of all displays by 4pm. All exhibitors are requested to leave the display areas as they found them CLEAN and NEAT. Please insure all garbage/debris is placed in garbage cans before exiting.
Free Parking is available in the underground, exhibitors please park on level P3 (lower level) in the stalls marked "RESERVED MON-FRI".
Loading of materials . please use the freight elevator for large displays, it can be accessed through the loading dock (Northwest corner of building off Princess Street) or from P1 of the parade.
Before going to your display area, all participants MUST first register at the RCV main table (centre mall) where event materials will be given out. These include the 50/50 ticket that has to be placed in the draw box to be eligible; site map and hospitality room passes.

Displays

Please insure the display is staffed for the FULL duration of the event, and be aware that the mystery volunteers will be around throughout the day awarding prizes to display staff that are most welcoming, engaging, and informative.
Displays cannot be over 6 feet tall and the backs should be decorated as well. All cartons and extra materials should be stored under the skirted display table out of site.
Please insure that all Mall access ways and store fronts are not blocked by an displays.
No eating/drinking is permitted at the displays but please use your passes to enjoy the refreshments in the community room hosted by Royal City Centre.
Please be as creative as possible with your table display area and the presentation of your materials. There will be judged awards for the MOST COLOURFUL DISPLAY and the MOST INFORMATIVE DISPLAY. NOTE: Malls rules do not allow helium balloons.
Display judging will occur from 2-3 pm and awards will be announced at 3:15 pm at centre stage.

More Information

Please bring an organization (or any stamp) and a stamp pad for the visiting public's "passport" which is then eligible for a prize draw.
The TRAVEL BEAR will move from display to display through the morning hours then sit at centre stage for the afternoon. Please follow the instructions, fill out the form and place it inside the Bear. Randomly selected entries will be drawn and read to the audience and prizes awarded.
If at anytime participants need assistance RCV members will be roving the site and the registration table will be staffed throughout the day.
